As a result, employees are required to identify to their long-term care employer whether they have a job at any other health service provider (including a hospital) or retirement home by 5:00 p.m. on April 17, 2020. For any SJHH employees who are currently also employed by one or more long-term care employer(s) or retirement home, you will need to select which employer you would like to provide service to for the remaining period of the pandemic, and communicate your decision to both employers no later than 5:00 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) April 17, 2020. To support employees who elect to work for the long-term care employer, SJHH will provide an unpaid leave of absence from St. Joe’s during this time so that they may return to SJHH following the pandemic.
